Art and Aesthetics Essay -- Art
Art and AestheticsArt is usually referred to as the opthalmic contrivances, where a wear round of workis judged through the aesthetics in which it creates. However, fraudrefers to all human endeavors, including the product of ones creativeimpulse. In other words, graphics does not vex to be innovative to begood. I swear device is the communication of an idea, be it visual, musical, communicative or other. Art is the inter put-on between theconscious and unconscious part of our being, between what is real number andwhat is an illusion it is the voice of our soul through color andform in a constant search for connection with something beyond. Ithink of art as the bridge between our souls and the physical sphere. Isee art as both an interaction between our psychological existence andour ethnic expression of that existence. Thus, this can includechallenging and sometimes disturbing imagination as well as theaesthetically pleasing. The creative persons conceptual vision and a p ersonsability to translate this to an audience is what transforms theordinary dwell to a historically and culturally significantevent. Moreover, art has a tendency. It is a way of reaching out andsending out a message, of open a different way of communicatingsomething with others, in ways differently would not be possible toachieve. Culture definitely plays a mountainous role on the differentvarieties of art we have in our world today. For example, Japaneseadolescents can be seen spending hours of their spare time attempt tocreate animated art, otherwise live onn as manga. This form of art maynot be acceptable to every culture, as it may be seen as beingunrealistic childish nonsense. However, to these Japanese adolescents, manga is a valuable work of art. Contemporaries like Andy Warhol mayhave a different definition of what art is. However, traditionalistsmay sneer upon Warhols world of the Campbells soup can as a workof art. Generally, an artists surroundings and culture p lays a biginfluence in the type of art he or she creates.Personally, my culture did not play a big role when I was in the midstof working on my artwork. Although I consider myself as an amateurwhen it comes to art, I believe that if you let your emotions andinspirations guide you, you would be able to produce a finely piece ofart. This will make your piece of art original, as it would have comefrom deep within yours... ...of something to the person who triesto interpret it. Every piece of art is created through the knowledgeof something, be it objective or subjective. For example, in anartistic way, a skilled craftsman would have a purpose and message inmind and he adapts and molds materials to fulfill this end. If he isto chase in conveying his message, he needs to better hisexpertise. There is a kind of craftsmanship and intelligence at workin the example of his art. Whether a ship builder or weaver, heapplies his practical knowhow, virtuosity, and talent in fashioningobject s that he is creating, and he draws upon general principleswhich he applies to concrete cases. Moreover, art can help a persondevelop their critical senses. It could give a person an intuition forforming judgments and trying to trace what the artwork is trying toportray. Knowledge provided by art is very distinct, as it deals withhaving a good sense of judgment and interpretation. In conclusion, there is no one true definition of art. Art is valued differently, depending on the individual. opposite individuals have differentviews as to what art is and as they say, beauty is in the eye of thebeholder.
